The Outdoors

We believe that children should spend as much time outdoors as they do inside, if not more. What they encounter in nature is open-ended and often sparks imagination. Therefore, our children are able to free-flow into our beautiful garden all day, whatever the weather.
Our skilled teaching staff encourage children at Ashgate Nursery School to discover and learn through their senses. Our provision uses open-ended, non prescriptive resources which encourages children to use their imagination, problem-solve and experiment.
