Children learn best when adults help them to do things for themselves. There is no substitute for first-hand experience and at Central and Ashgate we think this is particularly important for children to find out about the natural world around them. Our fantastic gardens provide real life opportunities for children to develop skills in all areas of learning. These experiences are supported by learning activities centred around all seven areas of learning.
